We were quite close to the show and had to protect ourselves and our equipment from falling debris. And yes, there is a bit of noise in these photos, but the end results are more than passable when printed on a high-quality printer. Dark Frame Subtraction: Many D-SLRs have a setting where the camera takes a second exposure of equal length with the shutter closed and subtracts any hot pixels from the first frame automatically.
